The tracks on this CD were used in various Lincoln car commercials in the US from 2009-2010. The CD title "Lift Off" is also the title of the 2009 Lincoln MKS commercial featuring a cover of "Space Oddity" by Cat Power. The cover of "Major Tom (Coming Home)" by Shiny Toy Guns was used in a 2010 Lincoln MKZ commercial, and their cover of "Burnin' For You" was used in a 2010 Lincoln MKS commercial. The cover of "Twilight Zone" by CSS was used in the "Wired Luxury" Lincoln commercial covering their new car line-up for 2010.
