Late November 1999
"Come on Jules. I promise you, after a couple of shows you'll be addicted!"
"Marty, I can't, I just can't. Unless there are thousands of decibels of electric guitars going on around me, I just can't imagine doing it."
"Trust me. I've done this all over the states, on my own. you'll love it! Andy, tell her she'll love it."
"To be honest Marty, it's just going to be a few people there and those that do come, well, some will just walk out after a few minutes and those that are left will just clap a bit at the end."
"You really think that, don't you?!"
"Of course I bloody do! We've not really done anything for years."
"Yeah. No-one's gonna remember us anyway."
"Look, let's just do one or two and if you don't like it, then at least we tried and you don't have to do any more!"

Same three friends a few weeks later
"Hey Julianne, we've got gigs in Warwick, two in London, Wentworth...."
"Where? That's a women's prison in Australia!"
"It's actually near Rotherham, near Sheffield....... Anyway, Wentworth, Colchester, two in Luton, Matlock Bath...."
"You're making these places up."
"He's not. It's in Derbyshire."
"And then there's Bath, Cardiff and Peterborough."

And so, this album of performances gleaned from various dates (played in January and February of 2000), came to be.
