The Swarm was a Melbourne band that formed in 1987.
Ashley Naylor and drummer Matthew Cotter went on to form Even in 1994.

Ashley Naylor - Guitars. Co-writer of the Swarm material and a collector of very cheap guitars.

Full title on cover reads: "rooArt presents Young Blood: A Selection Of Australia's Best Up And Coming Bands".

The inner sleeve of the LP version lists the title of the Swarm track as "Charlotte". The title "Scarlet" is printed on the LP Side 1 label and on the CD disc.
