Us was a collaboration between Margot Smith and John Kilbey, and involving the internet community. Their plan was to release a couple of songs every few weeks on the internet, and they wanted their listeners to send in suggestions. This was to supposedly culminate in an online album. And they wanted to limit themselves to 4 hours to write, record and mix each song.
