Perth-based rock band The Woodenelves were formed in 2004 when Travis Caudle teamed up with lead guitarist Jonathan Tiedtke. By mid-2008, the band had begun recording their first album in Sydney at Spacejunk Production House with producer Tim Powles, also the drummer of acclaimed Australian band The Church. The Woodenelves' forthcoming 13-track album Trips Between Worlds, mastered by Don Bartley, is a collection of atmospheric rock and melody-driven pop.
