Notes
Review in The Age, Melbourne, Dec. 11, 1987:
On the red-vinyl single from Kilbey's forthcoming EP 'The Slow Crack', the singer bears quite some similarity to a non-commercialised Lloyd Cole — he delivers a nasal but rich vocal line. The song and the music are lyrical and, like the Crystal Set song ['From Now On', also reviewed], the combined sound of semi-quavered undercurrent from a semi-acoustic sounding six-string and gently drifting clouds of synth noise contribute to a graceful piece.
